2023 Dodge Hornet Fort Worth TX

If there is one thing that Dodge is known for, it's power! Two engine options are available for the 2023 Dodge Hornet, and both will get you high horsepower and torque. The first engine we need to talk to you about is the new plug-in hybrid you can get with the R/T trim. Its base engine is a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder which adds a battery pack and two electric motors to create 285 horsepower, 383 lb-ft of torque, and 30 miles of all-electric range, which is among the best in the class. In addition, the R/T trim comes with a Powershot feature that will add some additional horsepower and a Sport mode that is performance-focused, and you can easily access it in the center console. The Sport mode also provides a sharper throttle,  optimized shift schedule, access to the hybrid system's optimized power and torque, and a tighter steering wheel feel. If you go with the GT version of the Hornet, the engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder pumping out 285 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque and pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Inside the cabin, the Hornet comes with a 12.3-inch digital cockpit cluster screen and a standard 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 system with a traditional central display. When the two are combined, the Hornet has a total of 22.5 inches of screen space. In addition, there are three separate information zones for the cockpit cluster display, allowing the driver to select between different display graphics. The Uconnect 5 system comes standard on both the GT and R/T trim, and it will easily pair with your device, which will then display on the easy-to-use touchscreen so you can control your music preferences, HVAC controls, seat positions, and more. You can also connect two phones simultaneously to the wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other advanced tech features include a new Harmon Kardon audio system, wireless charging, several safety items with rain-sensing wipers, a rear seat reminder system, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot detection.

Trust us when we tell you that the Dodge Hornet is a Dodge vehicle inside and out, thanks to its distinct DNA, which includes a new hood and fascia design elements that certainly give the Hornet its distinctive attitude. The hood of the Hornet has integrated heat extractors that provide a more performance-focused experience. The front grille has a "mail slot"  style grille opening which is sculpted right into the fascia. The real fun begins at the R/T trim level, as this trim comes with an Abyss-painted lower cladding that combines with a rear valance and dual exhaust ports. The Hornet's headlamps allow drivers to see down-the-road and the ability to see everything that's in front of you. You also get LED reflectors and daytime running lights for the full illuminated experience. Other standard features for the R/T include 18-inch Graphite Grey alloy wheels and the option of the spectacular Track Package, which has several unique design cues.
