• What does RAM’s 10-Year/100,000-Mile Powertrain Warranty cover?

  This warranty protects the most essential systems that power your truck: the engine, transmission, transfer case (for 4WD/AWD), and drive system components like axles and differentials. It’s designed to ensure long-term reliability for the parts that keep your truck moving.

• Which RAM vehicles qualify for this warranty?

  All 2026 RAM trucks and vans purchased or leased by retail customers are eligible. This includes the RAM 1500 (including the RHO trim), RAM 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty, RAM Chassis Cab models (3500/4500/5500), RAM ProMaster vans, and the RAM Power Wagon. Battery electric vehicles are excluded.

• Who is eligible to receive this coverage?

  Only the original retail purchaser or lessee qualifies. The warranty is non-transferable, meaning it does not carry over to second owners or apply to fleet or commercial vehicles.

• What happens if I sell my RAM truck?

  The extended powertrain warranty ends with the original owner. If the truck is sold, the new owner receives RAM’s standard warranty—typically 5 years/60,000 miles for gas engines or 5 years/100,000 miles for diesel.

• Are fleet or commercial vehicles included?

  No. This warranty is reserved for personal-use retail customers. Vehicles registered for fleet or commercial use are not eligible.

• Does this warranty include roadside assistance or towing?

  No. The powertrain warranty does not cover towing, roadside assistance, rental vehicles, or travel-related expenses. These services may be available through additional protection plans.

• Can I extend coverage beyond the powertrain warranty?

  Yes. RAM offers FlexCare Vehicle Protection Plans that provide broader coverage for systems like electronics, brakes, and suspension. These plans are backed by the manufacturer and honored at all authorized RAM dealerships.
